German Federal Ministry of Education and Research Recognizes InVision for its Innovation Excellence
InVision AG, the company behind injixo, a leading provider of cloud-based workforce management (WFM) solutions, has received the prestigious BSFZ recognition from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. This recognition is given exclusively by the BSFZ (“Bescheinigungsstelle Forschungszulage”) to companies that receive funding from the Ministry through the Research Allowance Act.
"The BSFZ recognition underlines our innovative strength and our commitment to future-oriented software development," says Peter Bollenbeck, CEO of InVision. "This accolade shows that we are successfully carrying out research and development projects that meet the demanding criteria of the Research Allowance Act. It is proof of our ability to make valuable contributions to the further development of our industry with innovative products and new applications."
For the award, the BSFZ comprehensively examined four of InVision's in-house research projects. These projects deal with the optimization and automation of particular processes in workforce management. Specifically, these include optimized calculations and automated approvals of absence requests, fully automated, optimized shift planning, and precise forecasts of future workloads as a reliable basis for efficient staff scheduling. The research projects are based on highly complex mathematical programming, algorithm development, and AI-supported (artificial intelligence) machine learning approaches.
"The BSFZ recognition motivates us to continue our research and always offer our customers the best solutions," says Detlef Wiedenbruch, Engineering Director at InVision. "We will remain committed to focusing our research and development efforts on creating high-quality and highly efficient software products in the future.”
